Getting Started Guide
There are a few things you will need to do to get the app working
- Set up your delivery areas, and choose date and time slots
- Set up your pickup locations, and choose date and time slots
- Theme installation
- (optional) Making the date and time mandatory before checking out
If you have any trouble installing the app on any of the following steps, such as the app not working, or something is different on your theme, or anything else you need help with, please don't hesitate to contact us atĀ support@local-delivery.net Let us know what your issue is, we are always happy to help!
We also offer an expert install service for the app for free. Please email us atĀ support@local-delivery.net and let us know you would like to request an expert install. In the email, please also send through your Shopify url (mystore.myshopify.com) and your collaborator access code (if you're using one) and we will send through a request for access to your store.
1. Set up your delivery areas
Once you have installed the app, you can then set up your delivery areas and choose your delivery days, dates and times.

2. Set up your pickup locations
Once you have installed the app, you can then set up your pickup locations and choose your pickup days, dates and times. You can also disable the pickup locations all together

3. Theme installation
When installing the app you will need to know if your theme is Online Store 1.0 (OS 1.0), or Online Store 2.0 (OS 2.0)

You can use our theme detection tool to work out your current published theme version.

4. (optional) Mandatory date and time
One optional step you can do is to make the Local Delivery date and time 'required' on the cart page, so your customer must enter a date and time before they can continue to checkout.
